image.jpgWell my down arrived early, so the quilt video is likely going to be up first. Here is a pic of the quilt I'll be showing in the video.....super excited about sharing it!

Looks good. I just started on my bridge. Not too bad so far. Just have to get my sewing machine dialed in. The triangles were a little confusing, but I think I figured it out.

Question about your hammock design: Does the "V" shaped foot and head (vs the curved shape of other bridges) cause anything unusual as far as comfort, fit, etc?

Nope, or at least I've not experienced anything different. The only thing is that it does not act as a pocket, but the bugnet video deals with that by adding pockets like the WBRR

I just finished mine up today. Absolutely love it. I did a single layer of 1.9 oz JoAnns ripstop. The biggest pain was sewing through the 3 layers of webbing. I broke probably 5 or 6 needles and the top thread kept breaking. I just got a "new to me" Kenmore 1914 and am still learning how to use it. Anyone else have similar problems when sewing the webbing?

There is a wide variation in webbing as to how easy it is to sew. From my experience, 1/2' 1800 lbs polyester webbing (Strapworks) is hardest while 1/2" tubular polyester webbing (DIY Gear Supply) and muletape are fairly easy to sew multiple layers.

Figures I'd order the hardest stuff. Got mine from Strapworks. I couldn't find the black on DIYGearSupply website. Oh well, non of my diy projects are ever easy.

I used the strapworks webbing on my first bridge, muletape on the second and the DIY Gear tubular on the rest. You couldn't find the black because it's white. Haven't you heard....white is the new black.

The thick layers of webbing are more difficult if you use a small needle... and especially an old one. I always switch it up at that point to a brand new size 14 needle and take it slow.... no problem.

Also... an update on the videos.... we've been busy with new baby as well as trying to prepare our house for sale, but I am editing the UQ video now and will hopefully have it up soon!
