Hey hd bridge users, what's the minimum hang distance you've hung this hammock? Can you hang it from supports 11' apart?
Thanks!

thanks so much for the videos, they are easy enough even for someone like me to follow.
I got my bridge done and took it for a spin, it worked great. but I'm 6'1" with wide shoulders. So I was wondering if making the body longer and wider will work
something like 89" long and 50" wide. will the same 6" side cut work and would you need longer bar?diy-hammok01.jpg
My nightly sleeper was cut (finished sizes smaller from hemming) 49" head end, 48" foot end, 83" long with 7" deep cat cuts. The head and foot spreader bars are 39" and 36".
Going longer will require slightly deeper cat cuts (or increased tension in the hammock-to-tree suspension).
Spreader bar width can be played with to tune in the lay. Wider bars for a given width of fabric will increase the compressive tension in the bars.
Everything is adjustable but every adjustment is a give and take.
Have fun playing to find your perfect bridge.
60 in wide,100 inch long, 8 in cat cut,, 42 wide bar at head 40 bar at foot,, alittle long but beautiful lay

Anyone know of a source for the triangle piece that connects the 2 dogbones to the whoopie sling? I currently just have them directly connected but was thinking the triangle would also act as a water break, which i don't have at the moment.
I like using Dutch Biners.
