New Moskito Kakoon hammock coming this spring. Only $54.95

I'm fairly certain this will be the best deal on a fully equipped Moskito hammock. Coming this spring. Check out the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnLu9O_52kc
Flexible spreader bars to help keep the netting off your face and gives you a much more open concept inside the Kakoon. The spreader bars allow you to still only need one attachment point vs. having to use tie outs on the sides to keep it open. Lightweight parachute Nylon material with triple stitched seams.
Let me know what you think.

It's a pretty nice looking hammock, and I love the poles. I would seriously consider this hammock if it were a bit longer. 9' is a tad short for me; at least 10' would make it much more comfortable. Very nice price... Just my $.02.

I must say I like the idea, it looks like it could give eno and Hennessey a run for its money as a great quality introductory piece of gear. Out of curiosity, are the netting bars removable? At around a pound of weight overall, being able to shave the weight of those little spreader bars could mean a skyrocket in sales over nonremovable ones for the lightweight crowd.

We thought about it, but we're afraid people would lose them. So we are going to sew the bars in so they cannot be removed unless someone wants to permanently remove them . I just weighed them and together the two bars way 0.6 ounces. I guess you could modify it when you got it so that you could remove and put them back in if you wanted to. I know there are some folks on here that could figure that out.

Weight limit will be 250lbs. The Yukon looks similar, but they use two guy lines two support the netting so unless you have two different tie off points to keep it spread apart it's just like having one with out the spreader bars and the netting will fall on your face. That's the beauty of our very lightweight spreader bars, you can still use the same attachment point you already have for the hammock!

I'd be in line for this one if it were at least 10'. I was impressed with the XXL Double I was allowed to try out, but this one's a no go because of how short it is.
I used to be a somebody, now I just camp.
