There are two ends or "models" of retail:
Getting some few customers to buy multiple copies of versions of what you sell, which means sometimes having you pretend that each model is highly adapted to just one application, or that a variety of experiences are much-wanted by enough customers. Groupies, deadheads, and HF members. Note that latest and greater doesn't work if you cannibalize the market, folks selling used (or just tried) last-year's model.
Another end is to maximize the number of people who have to have one of your products. Go for it Warbonnetguy.
