I know how you can make deadman snow anchors. But I doubt you will trade anything for that. (:

Can you post a photo of the Fronkey down pillow? I can make you a CRL out of braided mason's line with a lightweight non climbing rated carabiner fixed on one end and a second carabiner on a prussik on the other. Just need to know the total length you would like the CRL to be.

Are your snow anchors for tarp anchoring? Lightweight plastic grocery bags filled with snow make a very good snow camping anchor. I've used them for tent anchoring for years.

    genius!
I am not familiar with mason's line. is it sturdy to withstand windy weather and wet snow? I am using Dyneema right now and it works.
Fronkey updated me on the pillow- it's actually climashield, red in color, has a hook to attach to the ridgeline.

I have several pillows with synthetic materials. Was eager to get a down option to try.
As for the masons line. Pretty strong stuff, mine has been through some heavy wind and rain and has held up well. Masons line does absorb water though.

What is the approximate value of the dream hammock breathable sock?

Mason's line is rated at 40lbs. I've used it as a ridge line on my tarp with winds gusting to 20 mph. You might want to consider staying with shat you have.

Sampson rope is another CRL option. I have a large spool.
