Just got home from the hang. For whatever reason not too many came out this weekend, but for those who did, they discovered a diamond in the rough. This place is about ideal for our purposes, no close neighbors, traffic noise, bright lights etc. There are enough places to hang a bus load of sleepy people and not crowd anyone.
Callie did yoman service as host for the hang, and Blind Squirrel did a ton as well. They had 4 kayaks and all who wanted to had a tour on the lake.
Believe it or not, but food items left on the table over night remained untouched the next morning, not saying who did the cooking.
About the only wildlife sign was deer tracks along the edge of the lake.
We were all packed up and ready to roll out around 10:00 after watering out the remains of the fire. I still cannot figure just how Callie knew exactly how much fire wood to bring, but it came out exact.
I am ready to go there again, perhaps in the early spring.
