Talking a PIF morphed into a DIY

...except , I am really terrible at such things so detailed.
So....hk2001, who had gifted me a lil hammy in the PIF section
offered to make me a HoundDog (well, that's what he called the pro-to-type).

I had been in the processing of moving and dealing with life things,
so I didn't get it hung until just now.
(on my newly painted Christmas Tree- that will soon be having 100 teeny tiny LED lights on it )

At any rate, I was SOOO blown away by his handiwork, I just could not let it go
    by without a posting.
His hook suspension system was truly a marvel and sewn right it.
The Adjustable Ridgeline was something I had not considered, but I find it TOTALLY useful.
And the fully zipperable netting was a HUGE plus!!
no need to decide "Do I get two hammocks? one WITH a bugnet and one without?!?"

so...to the great people here on hammock forums,
to the great PIF and DIY section,
and most of all, to hk2001!!

It's Christmas early in Las Vegas, baby!!

Way cool! I love when good stuff happens! Nice!
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.

That clip system started at dreamhammocks, and was shown to me by Lost_Biker.

    Glad you like it

Sorry for my newbness, but this clip system is for the bug net?

I am in exactly the boat that you speak of, do I get two hammocks, one with a bug net and one without? But a simple light clip system sounds marvel.

I think this is for the under quilt.

The hammock dos has has a stowable, non removable bug net. It stows in the foot end of the hammock when not in use.

The clips are for the underquilt. They eliminate the need for triangle things and side suspension on the uq.
