    First post.

    Greetings.

I ordered my BMBH today (via regular mail, wow, is that gonna take forever) and I can't wait to try it out!

My last hammock split down the middle after 0.99 nights, when I sat up too quickly at 5 am, and the hammock was set up too low, and my butt just barely grazed something sharp on the ground...Had to go home and pick up the tent, a 200 mile round trip. Not the best start of the week...

I just hope shipping to Sweden is fast, once you guys get the order. We still got a lot of snow up here 'round the arctic circle, but as soon as I get it, I'm heading out!

    Cheers!

    Welcome to the forum!

Good story about the hammock, glad you were close enough to the ground that you didn't get hurt. So, what was it that made you sit up in a hurry? Get spooked?
    Trust nobody!

No, just really had to go, I had rehydrated a lot the day before. Plus, I was eager to get the fire started, just generally psyched and happy to wake up.

When I finally got back with the tent I had an awesome week by myself in the woods, did some fishing and gold panning, but basically just hung out. Some guy walked in on me a couple of days later while I was sitting on a rock in the river washing myself. Must have been a sight, you walk for miles in the woods without seeing anyone, and suddenly, when you reach the river and get your fishing rod out, you spot a crazy naked wild man covered in soap, hahaha.

Got a mail from USPS that they have received the package info. Wow, the Jacks work fast. I sent the snailmail 4 days ago. Gotta say I'm impressed. Now all I have to do is wait for the actual shipping.

Got some cord and miscellanoues stuff coming in this week as well. Looks like I'll be testing the gear in a very near future, and I can't wait.

Well, I finally got it, no thanks to the swedish customs.

Went out to test hang it last night after work, eager as a beaver. First impressions:

Spreader bars, dang that's a tight fit. I probably picked trees that were too far apart, because there was more sag than I thought. I need to fiddle with the correct heights for both the hammock and tarp. Easy enough to get up, though. The buckles are great, and the webbing is nice and long. Tarp and stake lines are beautiful! Great, just great!

All in all, I love it, and can't wait to set it up for real.

    Thanks, Jacks!
