For Sale, shipped to CONUSA, $240
I've tried to package this new gear so all you need is stakes.
New HH Zip Expedition with snakeskin's - only set up once in the park to compare to a bridge hammock
New HH Monsoon Tarp - like a Hex but has storm doors on each end
HH undercover for Expedition - just add your own pad or UQ
Conversions: The line suspension has been converted to Whoopie Slings, original line suspension will be included.
Tarp ridge line cord with micro-biner on one end is included for tarp suspension - original plastic hooks that prussic on line suspension are included but would probably need at least four warps to hold on the Amsteel; the ridge line suspension is better.
Two "Knot bone" (dog bone) connectors on split rings for each end of the Monsoon tarp are included. Will substitute Figure-9's for knot bones if you like. I haven't put these on yet because I've never unwrapped the Monsoon.
Two wide tree straps, two carabiners, two longer lengths of climbers webbing (has a little dry pitch on it), and two aluminum toggles for a Marlin Spike, some Nite-ese reflector cord if you want to replace the dark hammock tie-outs.
Hennessy's description of Monsoon:
For Expedition, Ultralite Backpacker, Deep Jungle, Evader or Hyperlite. This is a modified shock corded, catenary cut, asymmetrical “hex” fly with “blast panels" attachable to each end of the fly to create a totally enclosed space that could handle almost anything. I imagined this would be used for serious expeditions to remote areas where survival is the name of the game.
