    My first hammock!

Here's a pic of me in my first DIY hammock. It's a little shy of 10 feet long and its made from 1.9 oz ripstop that I got on ebay. I'm using two 8 inch continuous loops at the ends connected to my DIY whoopy slings (also a first for me) which connect to my 1 inch poly tree straps via some aluminum toggles i cut from an old arrow shaft. I'm 6 foot and 250, so far everything is working great! This weekend my matching hex tarp should be completed as well. Thanks!

    Whooo, nice looking hammock!
I may be dumb, but at least I'm ugly!

I've done so much, with so little, for so long, now I can do anything with nothing.

It's not peer pressure, it's just your turn.

Get hooked up online with Hancocks Fabrics, every week you get an online coupon for 40-50% off fabric, makes that $7.99 a yard a good deal!

Congrats on the new sleeper, you will enjoy the benefits to the spine!
.... the Aardvark (earth pig)... a rather unremarkable creature whose sole claim to fame is that it is the first animal listed in the dictionary.
