I miss Montana... best kept secret in the US is camping there. I love to tell people about the 40 below with 60 mph winds. If it scares the crap out of them and keeps them away... good. If their eyes light up and you can tell they're thinking about camping.. better

That UQ looks like it'll do the job nicely.

Enjoyed the video! Beware the paracord suspension - it is nylon and st r e t c h e s ! When you get the chance, consider non-stretching line.

I like the idea of the knoted ridge line. Its like using a really long personal anchor system that you use for climbing, (setting up anchor points and what-not). Seems like you would use a lot more line than is really need though.

My only real "advice" would be (if you get much sag with the paracord) to ditch the paracord and carabiners for some 7/64" Amsteel Blue or more colors of Amsteel Blue or one of the myriad other places to find it.

Get 50 feet of it... make some soft shackles and use the rest for your ridge-line and suspension.

Since your UQ is not in need of much structural support, that should be fine with the paracord, but if you want to lose a couple more ounces or 'stiffen' it up, try some Tech Line.
