Thanks for telling me about cheap shock cord .

I can't remember who you are or what thread I read it on . But hey thanks for the tip . Bought a cargo net at Harbor Freight and started undoing knots while watching TV . There are a ton of other tips I pick up sometimes I remember where and sometimes Ill be doing something and say to myself ..dang that was a good idea Joe ... then I realize I read it here somewhere . So anyway thanks since you guys don't have a thanks button .

Heres the net I bought . Ive got about 30 or 40 feet of good quality shock cord about 3/16" and Iv'e only unraveled about half of it .

Yep, I've used this a few time before myself.

Although if you are picking up other things as well it is worth getting it from DIY Gear Supply for $0.17 - $0.20/foot as it is typically in better condition having not been previously knotted up.

SupplyCaptain.com is another place for fair prices on shock cord.

This stuff on Amazon is cheap. 300' of 3/32" for $20 and 1/8" for $25. I just got the 3/32", not the highest quality stuff I've ever seen, the elasticity isn't the strongest, but for less than $0.07 a foot I can't complain too much. Don't have any experience with the larger diameters though.
