Winter palace questions

Does anyone know if/what suspension and guy lines a winter palace comes with? Does it come with d rings or some attachment points for tieing the doors open? Does it come with any sleeves or skins? I can't find any of these details on the HG site?

I bought a while back. I bought the snake skins separately off the site but I do not see where you order them now. Which where cuban fiber too. No ropes or anything just the tarp. But you should send him email to verify it was quite a while back when I picked up one.

My HG Winter Palace has two sets of CF strips to tie off to for the doors. You roll the doors and secure them with the small cordage provided. Works good. The attachments on my tarp are small D rings attached to the tarp with grosgrain.

I ordered the camo one and the biggest they have which is pricey. I never got any ropes. I order the snakes with it too. The d rings are on it.

When I ordered he was at some convention or something and his wife sent it out. But I love it. Super light and I love the room. next time I go out I need to take some video and photos

Same title (HG Winter Palace Qs), different poster.

I can only reach about 7', so will I ever have trouble hanging a Winter Palace? If I hang it too low, those long sides would not be steep enough to shed snow.

What are the perimeter tieouts made of? I would be expecting to stake them to the ground in stormy weather, trying to not use any line that would create an air gap. Should I use a one inch loop of dyneema to avoid the wear from the stakes on the perimeter tieout?

I've only used silnylon diamond tarps and standard width, 8.5' wide cuben tarps. Never tried an extra wide, siltarp, so the 10.5 width would be new to me.
