Lite Trail G Line is a similar size and construction to the reflective guyline in question.... so I think my experience with G Line might translate.

I tried using G Line as a tarp continuous ridgeline. My prussics gripped the sheath of the G Line very well, but the sheath was not as strong as the spectra core. The sheath ripped and exposed the nice spectra underneath.

I have since gone back to using Lash It for my ridgeline, but continue to use G Line for my tarp guylines.

No, it doesn't. That's why I like the line mentioned in the thread above.

No reflective tracers in the G-line. But man, it is an unearthly orange. I can stare at a hank of G-line and it's almost like my mind can't comprehend how bright orange it is.

Maybe I should call in to Coast to Coast and discuss it with George. This stuff has to be paranormal.

has anyone had luck with splicing the 1.1 from Prichard workshop? I'm good with Zingit but this stuff is very difficult to splice.

    Got a link?

Most find Zing It to be fairly easy to splice once they learn the correct techniques.

I didn't think it was able to be spliced because it has a core.

I just got 40 meters of the 1.1 dyneema. I'll be testing out the mini line locs with it and I'm sure I'll have extra. It looks a feels like pretty incredible stuff.

I had same experience. Did same. Went back to Lash It for ridgeline. Use G line for tarp guylines.
