Vernonia Trail: 160 miles in a Velomobile.

Completed 160 mile ride Sunday. Had planned on doing the ride nearly non stop, but it took me longer, so I decided to campout instead. I had planned ahead and brought the hammock and gear so it was a really easy choice.

The first video is geared more towards the recumbent crowd that has never seen a hammock. This is more of an intro for them. The second is footage of the Vernonia bike trail, as seen from a velomobile. Some high speed sections on the downhill side, looks really nice with all the trees flying by. With the sun starting to set, shadows come out and play. Absolutely beautiful.

Interesting. I liked the video's and appreciate you making and posting them. Thank You.

I do have a criticism about the audio on the first video. I could hardly hear you with the music so loud. For legibility background music needs to be at a significantly lower level than any voices. This is a common problem but still a problem.
    YMMV

Brekky from the hammy, great stuff! That under quilt looks pretty **** warm. Your set up looks great! Hammocks are very hard to get out of, it takes some psyching up.

Thank you gentlemen for your fine compliments and input. The hammock video was really geared for the recumbent crowd, so it may seem strange for us "experts". These folks have mostly not seen a hammock before, so it is an introduction of sorts. I have another long route planned, if it all works out.
