Harriman state park? (flexible) on 11-30-13

I would like to see if anyone is interested in doing an overnight on Friday.

I does not have to be Harriman it can be anywhere 1hr away from NYC.

I want to test my winter setup before the temp really drop...we are set for a low of 20 that night.

I looked but it's over a 2 hr ride for me one way. I am only able to stay Friday night so I was hoping not to drive to far.

Post something in the trip planning section. I've visited Allaire but have never considered camping there - looks like car/RV camping to me (and at $20 a site, expensive). Are you looking for car camping?

If this is directed at me, yes I live in Syracuse but am currently working in NYC and staying in NJ.

For me it would depend on the temperature. If it's above 20 at night then I could do it. Unfortunately I am still in need of am uunderquilt and larger tarp.
I would prefer something along the AT...but that may be far for you.
