    TATO Gear Tarp Connection System

This is the new TATO Gear Tarp Connection System for continuous ridgelines. This works above or below the ridge line and make for easy attaching and adjusting the position of your tarp anywhere on the ridge line within seconds. It eliminates the fussy prusik knots. These are going to be available for Black Friday on our site here.

Looks pretty cool and simple to use. Any chance that hook may slide off if the connector gets bumped or with excessive pull from the tarp?

These lock in tight. It takes way more than a bump to unhook these. I have pulled on these with a great deal of force and haven't had them slip.

Wow, too cool, just what I need. I have been fighting with the stupid P.knots way too much lately.

What will I need to part with to purchase a set???

Thanks Bryan! I have your pull-outs already and these will make for a nice set.

I can see these being real nice when it's cold and wet outside and you need to make adjustments.

Perhaps a dumb question, but how do you rig the ridgeline? I currently use a Dutch hook attached to the split ring, around the tree and down to the other tree, back to a Flyz, giving me the classic "V" at each end. The tarp in effect is part of the ridgeline. It looks to me like the Tato connector requires a single line, tree to tree, from which the tarp then hangs. Is that correct? If so, is there a good no-knots way to keep the "V"? I know, some people think it's not needed, but it's the style I prefer. I know Dutch's video shows using a Wasp, but I don't have one.

TATO tarp connectors are for use on a continuous tarp ridge line. I have been using a set since they first came out. I have never had one come loose. if your tarp ridgeline is very tight then it is a bit of a pain to to hook up but once in place it is not going anywhere,

    Tato,

Is there anyway to purchase just the toggles and aluminum ends? Would like to experiment with spliced dogbones instead of shock cord.
