It is not specific to camping, but I think you will find several of the knots useful.

If you like it, I would appreciate it if you said so.
I can download, but don't seem to be able to open the PDF. Something special required?

I wonder how a Perfection Loop compares to a bowline and how well it would work in Amsteel. That is my goto knot for making loops, from flyfishing.

Don't know how Perfection Loop will work with hammocks holding your weight.
My guess is, it will hold, since it holds for fishing line--that can be slippery.
I'm thinking there might be a problem with jamming--then again maybe not since the last part has some looks of a bowline--just as a Double Dragon Loop has features that are similar to bowlines.
Curlymaple I've never tied a Perfection Loop--maybe you can test it for hammocks???
Good luck and if all else fails--you gotchu a heckofa fishing line.

Wow this is really really good! You should publish it it's that good! But I appreciate all the work to give it out freely, things can be of value even without making money of them. I have been wanting to learn more knots so I'll be saving this and going through it. Thank you.

A new browser or some other change allowed me to finally download, and I’m glad I kept trying. Terrific reference work-many thanks for making it available!

Thanks for this. New hanger and I've been eyeing knot books whenever I'm in a store that has them.

This book was extremely useful the other day for a home project that I needed several knots for. Thanks for the really comprehensive book. Can't wait to apply it to hammocks. Did you illustrate it yourself? Impressive!
