Hey guys, new member here. Im from north Georgia and love to hike, flyfish, hunt, backpack, bushcraft, and generally just be outdoors. I am a proud owner of a hennessy explorer and an eno singlenest (got it free by the way). So far I have really enjoyed my hammocks, and as I have been doing more research on hammocks this forum kept appearing, so I decided to sign up! Looking forward to gaining more knowledge.

Haha, Yonah is pretty much literally in my backyard. I could walk out my back door and walk to the trailhead. Although the people in the house behind me might not be too keen on that. So I make the one minute drive to the trailhead instead.Originally Posted by squidbilly

Welcome ferrulewax, to a great place to discuss everything hammock, and lots of other things as well. I look forward to meeting you at one of the north Ga. hangs, oh yeah, sometimes we hang across the river in S.C., where there are a lot more good folks to hang with. Keep an eye out for mention of a Burrell's Ford hang in a few weeks maybe.
Thanks for the welcomes, I wish yonah was in my back yard, but I got walka mountain instead, but there is a great view of yonah at the top. Sometimes I'll just head out the backdoor and hike walka.
