Arctic Blast + new UQ = Lost Maples this weekend

I have been trying get to Lost Maples before the colors had fallen but did not make it. But this upcoming cold front is another good chance to get away and test some new gear and new ideas. I will be heading up to Lost Maples SNA near Vanderpool, TX this Friday and departing Sunday (Dec. 6th - 8th).

If anyone is interested in joining me let me know. I will be staying at site B, on a hill in the middle of some nice hard wood trees.

I'm looking forward to the cold and will be leaving extra gear in the car just in case the rating is off on the gear I pack. Down here in Corpus Christi we rarely get down into the 40's so none of it has been truley tested.

I'm planning a day hike there this Saturday what camp site will you be at? Waiting on UQ from UGQ so no overnight planned. Plus I have to work at Church Sunday

I will be set up all the way in back of camp site "B" I will be the guy with a couple of dogs. Swing by... or I can meet you by the pond if I know what time and we can hike the trails.

Lets just play it by ear with possible ice and snow this weekend I might not dive out but I'm hoping to!
