I'm planning on it. Forgot to bring my hiking stuff in April.

I'm planning on being there!!!
Gonna ride w/Shrek, or most likely he'll be riding w/me due to my truck's bigger than his truck!!! Or we may all be in ClumseyBear's truck. We're working out the details as I type!!
Here's the list of those who've expressed an interest in the June09 hang at Hot Springs. The group will be camping in site #413 & adjacent sites as needed--so the sooner you sign up here, the sooner I can reserve those additional sites before they get taken by others.
Remember, everyone is invited. This list should contain everyone who is coming so we'll have a good handle on the total for the hot dog roast. Even those who reserve their own campsite elsewhere in the campground or those who are only visiting for the day should sign up here.
I'll update the list as often as needed, so let me know if you plan on attending.

Hope we can get a good crowd. There seem to be a lot of hangs going on that weekend. I've convinced 2 to come, and am working on a third. Ed, will you be having another silent auction on this hang?

Shrek, it does my heart good to see so much interest in hammock camping---as little as a few years ago, I couldn't get 3 people to go hammock camping with me because they didn't know what a camping hammock was. And now we have multiple hangs to choose from on the same summer weekend! We must be doing something right! Like you, I wish I could go on each of those hangs, but our Hot Springs June Hang promises to be even more exciting than ever. Remember, the Bluff Mountain Bluegrass Festival will be going on only a short walk from our campsite! June is typically the largest of our 3 yearly hangs in HS--I'll keep the signup list current so everyone can see whose coming. If there is enough interest in the Saturday communal breakfast & the silent auction, we'll do them again in June--I'm waiting to see how much interest develops. They were both quite popular at the April Hang, so maybe we'll do them again in June!

I'll be there for sure, and I'm trying to get some folks to tag along as well.
Just have to try and pick up a stove / cookware and I'll be set. I'll do PB&J if need be, but I'll be there ;-)
PB&J is good, but don't fret if you can't get your hands on a stove. I'm sure there will be plenty of stoves there that you can use. Also, there is a little diner nearby. If they chickens are laying, hopefully we'll get some more of those farm fresh eggs for Saturday breakfast.

That doesn't do justice to the Smokey Mountain Diner. That place is fantastic! Their hiker special is a double cheeseburger that makes my mouth water just thinking about it. And their breakfasts, ooooh their breakfasts. Some kind of good that diner is! Elmer's place across the street offers some mighty fine food too, just no meat. However, if someone called "Cannibal" tells you that his veggie meals are divine; probably ought to listen.
Trust nobody!
