Looking for recommendations on good maps (or source of other good info) for Big South Fork Recreation Area. Primarily looking at the KY side. But, the TN side would be nice too.
Would like to start pulling together info on BSF to plan a trip late winter/early spring.

Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.
There are times that the only way you can do something is to do it alone.
The book Ewker suggested and this map should give you everything you need. I think the TN side offers better hiking trails.
I use both of these and they are great. Also, do not forget you can hike into BSF from TN Picket State Park side as well. If you like canoeing the river is great in the spring and you can make it a two to four day trip starting from the southside to the TN/KY line.
