Gotta try out my new stuff!

I've received my UQ and TQ from Hammock Gear. Waiting on my Cuben fiber tarp, and my Dream Hammock. Planning a trip with my son and my nephew (15) who has never been backpacking. We are planning for the week after Xmas and I believe we have narrowed down to Joyce Kilmer, Citico Creek area. I'm hanging and they will stay on the ground. We are planning a 4 day loop 20-35 miles. Any suggestions on must hike trails in the area or loops would be appreciated.

Congrats on the new gear Bammacker. I use a UQ and TQ from HG and couldn't be happier with it. I think you're really going to enjoy yours.

It sounds like its going to be a great time for you, your son and your nephew. You guys should have a blast.

As we say up in these parts, it's going to be a "wicked cool" trip.

Have a blast and file a trip report when you get back.

    All the best !

Is the Upper Tellico Trail in your area? I hear it makes for some good hiking.

Hey man, congrats on the new quilts. Your trip sounds like fun. I hope you guys enjoy yourselves. These 70+ temps in December are crazy but I know it's about to change from what they say.

Ha ha, Merry Xmas to me. I guess I like making the credit card companies richer. Not very smart on my part.
