At a recent Burrell's Ford hang I had the pleasure of camping near to Orion X. I had forgotten my pot, so Sean was more than generous by sharing his GSI kettle with me.
He had a really nice hammock set up that he had made and several folks were trying his hammock and discussing the lack of calf ridge in it. So I started thinking and before long I had asked him to build one for me. I did have several yards of material from diy gear supply on hand, and he agreed to make it using my material.
This morning I went to the post office and sure enough, there it was, double layered, Knotty mods and all. This thing is beautiful, great workmanship through out. I had traded for just the hammock, so I used my last piece of zing it and made a ridge line, added a pair of cinch buckles and hung it up. Perfect. I now have an Enlightened equipment UQ installed, a UGQ top and UGQ down pillow in there and it feels fine. I will try this thing out tonight. Whoo Buddy for sure.
