    Fixing TQ to Hammock?

I'm wondering if HF has discussed fixing a TQ to a hammock to keep it snug and tucked in while you toss and turn? I'm thinking maybe tie-downs from foot to shoulder on side away from zipper in a WBBB and from foot to waist on zipper side. Maybe even snaps from waist to shoulder on that zipper side.

Kind of like making a sleeping bag out of the UQ and TQ as Thermarest does with their TQ and pad combinations.

On really cold nights in a sleeping bag, I hate waking to cold spots where the draft tubes have pulled back to let cold air in through the zipper. Same thought on hammocks.

    Welcome to HF.

I'll venture to guess that most folks haven't ever had the problem. It's never come up that I recall. Usually cold spots are the result of UQ issues, not TQs. How much time do you have in a hammock with a TQ in cold weather? Is this a proposed solution to a problem you've experienced, or an anticipated one based on your ground dwelling days?

My first thought is if the TQ is attached to the hammock, if you rolled to one side, the TQ could not follow creating a gap between you and the TQ that would be instantly filled with cold air.

Yeah - maybe not such a good idea. Thanks for your thoughts!
