    Lite Owl Initial Hang Question

Just got my new Lite Owl. I was going to order a Snipe after seeing Shug's video, but Marty suggested the Lite Owl. He is such a nice guy and so prompt.
This maybe dumb, but how do you know the inside versus outside of the hammock. Is the OWL label on the outside or is the WILDERNESS LOGICS label on the outside?

The LO hangs equally well either way.
Just hang it so that the adjustable hear and foot pouches are configured to the way you like to lay, feet right or feet left.
There really is no down side.

I didn't know if it made a difference in how it pulled on the whipped ends. Thanks again

I am just waiting for mine to arrive in the mail and being a new hanger I am sure I would've had the same question!

I think I prefer head right feet left which is away from the normal preference of people right?

Prior to getting my WL Lite Owl, I slept head right/feet left; had to sleep head right/feet left; got pain if I slept any way other than head right/feet left. Now, with the extra length, and the extra 2 oz of comfort Marty threw in It no longer matters. I sleep which ever way I happen to fall into the Lite Owl. No shoulder squeeze, no pain, just comfort - head right or feet right it's all right!

Ocdave is right. Hanging > tenting regardless of feet side

Oh in the few short nights I've spent in a hammock thats too short for me it has already been far better.

I suppose I will find out which side I prefer after an end of June trip with my new Lite Owl! Just waiting for it as we speak

The lite owl is one of the most comfy hammocks I have owned (and I've owned quite a few). Others have come and gone, but the Lite Owl will be in my house from now on. (I actually sold it once and got it back... my wife freaked out... apparently it's her hammock now)

I'm a head left guy, but she prefers head right, so I just flip it over when I do get an opportunity to lay in it.

I have had my lite owl for almost a year. I still love it! I am small enough to wear I can lay straight and be extremely comfortable in it..so I can't say much on that subject. I do occasionally try different lays...and for me all work. The mister has the nite owl. He also loves it. I have not heard any complaints from him. Overall, they are great hammocks.
