Let's call Friday a wash . I'm not too crazy about the forecast what with snow and freezing rain warnings. We can start fresh Saturday morning: roads will be safer and it'll give Chenvre a chance to snowshoe in with us.
FYI: I've got a grill, axe, saw, ice auger and a spare nylon tarp in my gear.

Well I'll admit I was geared up for the rain apocalypse (rain jacket,pants) but going in sat is better than nothing.
If my knees,heart and back forgive me I might stay sunday night .
Play it by ear.
I'll be bringing my saw as well.
No signs,no fees,no rules,nobody. My kind of campsite.
On that note. Since I have the day off I think I will attend The Outdoor Adventure Show. I have missed it for the past two years.
Hopefully a few more people will join us on Saturday morning.

I'm considering becoming the "quitter"
seems like a lot of time/energy for a 1 nighter "quickie"
I could do that at valens. I would rather spend multiple nights in the backcountry. March 14 to 16 is open for me. Any thoughts guys?
