Nice ggreaves, sounds like you'll be all set. I'd recommend watching The Day After Tomorrow for a bit of inspiration! That movie sets the bar for an awesome EGL winter hang!

oops meant to post my confirmation on this thread but instead I confirmed for the Valens trip. (out for Valens - in for Backcountry) Don't care where.

Chard.... I'd been a plain shelter user for years and then Jayson got me in to a hammock which was nice. It just isn't the ground. Bloody pinata

Any other comments on this topic would be futile for me on this site

has a destination been set for this trip?

Just got my schedule and I am working the weekend of the 21st to the 23rd. Getting it switched will be difficult. Unfortunately I don't think I can go.

I can't make it, I'm working that weekend

But I have February 24-27 off , I might head out for a few nights to the same location you guys end up at.

If I am I'll post a new thread,

A co-worker needed to switch shifts so it looks like I'm back in for the weekend of the 21st to the 23rd.

I do wish I had the gear but my 20* phoenix and 7C synthetic bag just won't make the cut for a winter hang. Still working up to it lol. Hope you all have a great time!!
