    Cool G'day y'all

Hey everybody my name is Sonny, I am 20 years old, an eagle scout, an avid outdoorsman, and am currently living in Brisbane Australia! Although I am living in Oz at the moment I originally come from Tallahassee Florida. I'm over here on a working holiday visa just backpacking and working seeing the country. I have to return in June and plan on thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail in February! I am very excited and have put a lot of time in researching gear and stories of previous hikers. Although I am new to hammocking I reckon with everybody's help and knowledge on HF I will be up to speed in no time on the tricks, technology, and techniques, that make hammocking a life long enjoyment!

    Thanks y'all

    Sonny aka Swamplion

You've found a great place to learn about hammocks, I've learned a lot here. Hope you post trip reports of you're adventure.

Welcome to the fountain of knowledge....the Encyclopedia of Hammocking.
Take your time...it's a thick book.
Mountain views are good for the soul....& getting to them is good for my waistline.
