WBRR specs for Hammock Hang Calculator

I'm getting ready to put some hardware on my deck for my new hammock and this will be my first hang. I put the following data that I've gleaned from this forum in the HH Calculator and I need help!

    Distance between hangers 15 ft
    Ridge line length 159 inches
    Hammock length 83 inches
    Sit height 18 inches
    Wt n hammock 175 lbs
    Hang angle 23 deg

HHC gives me a Hang Pt height of: NaN ft

    What am I doing wrong?

The calculator is set up for gathered end hammocks...so...the hammock length needs to be longer than the ridge line length.

With the WBRR, you will have to measure from the end of one suspension triangle, down into the bottom of the hammock and back up to the opposite suspension triangle to get your hammock length (something in the 170" range). This will give you a hang point height of ~4'-4".

I strongly recommend you find a way to experiment with the hang before you start drilling holes.

Thanks gmcttr. I thought I'd do that but expected the calculator to give me a little direction to make sure I was in the ball park. I have 6x6s 15, 16, 17, 18, & 19 ft apart and all are 8 ft high.

You've got it made with that setup. Wrap the webbing straps around the posts just like you would hang on trees.
