Special thanks out to TNHillbilly for supplying the firewood. It was a shame he had to leave early and didn't get to enjoy the lovely warm gathering of new and old friends by the light of the fire. We enjoyed meeting you folks, and hope the flood waters have receded and all is well.

My thanks also Neo. Nice weekend, even with the storms. I think we can say that tarps and hanging methods were put to a a good test for water. Now we just need to add the wind!!!
Someone might even say that Rainman is a "fair weather" guy. I'll vouch for him that it didn't rain while he was there.
Was great to meet so many folks that are on the forum. Now I can put faces to these posts. Got a lot of good info on different hammocks and tricks. Thanks again and hope to see ya'll soon.

Sorry guys, I thought I had already posted something. I had a great time while we were there. Good meeting old friends and making new ones. Enjoyed talking and visiting with everyone. For those that know my situation, the well ended up being the least of my problems. We had so much rain that seeped into the well that the whole house filter stopped up. I had to change it about 3 times in 2 hours before it would flow clear. The basement flooding was worse than I thought. As matter of fact I had to take off from work on Monday to continue dealing with the problem. I think I finally got it all in pretty good shape. Hopefully I'll get to hang around with you folks again soon. I look forward to sharing a campfire with you all again, and just for turtlelady I'll bring the chocolate gravy. tnhillbilly
