So i found this machine at my local Goodwill today and going back in about 30 minutes. I alread have a pretty beasty Singer 600E machine but my wife is wanting to learn to sew and learn to do monogram nowand I think this would be a good starter machine for her. Does anyone know anything about this machine??? $100 price tag. Never opened from what I could tell.

The reviews of that machine online aren't bad....
Definitely not something you could fix yourself (well, I couldn't fix it..) if something was wrong with it. Does your thrift store have a refund policy ? (mine have a 'once it is out the door it's yours' policy, generally....).

She owns a similar model and was very knowledgable about this particular machine. WOW! This thing is as smooth as butter! Will be adding this under the tree for the wife for Christmas! Funny how I really purchased it for me!!!!
