This has been an incredible year. Support from this community has been tremendous. I hope I have lived up to everyone expectations and gave top quality customer service. Many of the people from here have become my closest friends. I can't thank everyone enough. It means a lot when someone takes their hard earned dollars to purchase my wares. Many of you know my Elf, Keith has been stricken with illness this year and the well wishes have been nothing short of touching. He is still touch and go but seems better all the time. Because of people purchasing titanium goodness he has one less worry and that is we could continue his income and he would feel involved and he gave as much as he could. Many orders come in with positive thought in the notes and be sure it has meant a lot to him.

I am going to go on hiatus between Christmas and the New Year. I need to do year end stuff, inventory, kick a little hike and spend some time with the family. They often had to put up with a father/husband that has been preoccupied much of the day....and evening...and night. I will still be available for some limited correspondence via email or PM. I will still take orders, but unless it is some emergency, I am going to hold on shipping until the New Year. I will make every effort to clean up all the orders placed before the 23rd. Right now I am pretty caught up and most orders have been going out in 12 to 24 hours.

Next year I have many new Dutchware products coming out. I have already purchased down and will be selling it in 3 ounce and 1 pound bags. I have been waiting for a new testing fixture to establish tensile strength and having that in house will benefit designing. There is no less than 5 new designs coming out including Titanium Cinch Buckles, new webbing, rip-stop ARGON and a bunch of top secret stuff Also I am moving into a new building for some more badly needed space. I am taking applications for a new shipping clerk and I need to get instructive videos up. I spent some time a the latter part of this year focusing on adding other people's products, but next year I am going to focus on proprietary bits. Your life will be better for it, be sure.
All the other venders on here have been nothing short of fantastic. I have met almost all of them and I have had many dealings and they all are top notch. JRB has backed me from the very beginning. Pan and Smee have been mentors, inspirations, and friends. I don't have competitors, I have fellow craftsmen filling their own little niche. This year I have added dealings with HammockGear, Dream Hammock, Hennessy Hammock, Whoopie Slings.com, Warbonnet, AHE, and I will be having my products carried at the HF store. I hesitate to name everyone because I don't want to let anyone out.
Hammock Forums, you have restored my faith in humanity. This community we have made here together has endured the test of time. Even though our numbers have grown the attitude of cooperation and most of all RESPECT has been unwavering. Thank to all that contribute in big and small ways. Thank you to all that have undeservingly treated me like a celebrity. Thanks to all the Mods that took the time to step up. It takes a lot of your time, I am sure. You must love it here too.
