I just don't know if you could ever find that kind of hammock specific info on a hunting forum.
You can find that kind of info on BCUSA. Lots of hangers there.

It wouldn't bother me anymore than discussing the merits of canoes compared to those kayak things that you seem to be so insistent about .

You're right and it seems kinda odd to me.

Leave it to the level headed mbiraman to save the day. Thanks bro

I'm not gonna write a trip report , even though hammocks played a BIG part of the success, of my most successful trip ever . This is the closest thing to venom I've ever felt on our civil little corner of the world and I don't think it was deserved. I was asking for clarification in order to be polite and not step on toes.

Thanks for the resource, signed up. Shame that going elsewhere is the solution to a lack of civility in conversation.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the strength to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

The ban came into affect shortly after I became a paying member, it really ticked me off. I got over it but I do come here a lot less because I'm not allowed to talk about my life, likes, goals other than the plastic bag and shoe laces that I sleep in.

+1 on BCUSA It's a very respectful, civil forum of folks who have a passion for outdoor activities like bushcraft, self reliance, survival, hunting/fishing, hiking/camping, guns, knives, axes..........and more.

I never knew of this site, http://bushcraftusa.com/forum/forum.php.
It looks like a really good site that is all inclusive.

I think it would be fine. Just focus on the hammock and camping aspect. Don't see why a photo of the firearms are the issue…just the discussion in depth on guns.
I for one am always more interested in seeing the hammock and backpacking gear and terrain on a trip report. If the focus is on those features and there is mention of the hunt and tools used in the report and they are not the main subject…all should be good and fine.
    Just my thoughts.
    Post it up.
