TX/ Jan 25, 2014 - Ray Roberts State Park or Erwin Park (Overnight)

Hey got a question from someone today, figured I would post the Question and answer here so we are all on the same page.

Q. Where will you guys be? Ray Roberts or Erwin?
A. I will be at Ray Roberts - Isle DuBois, Hawthorn area. Most likely Site 27 or in that area. I was going to book a Group Site but the booking system would not let me. No fear we now have two sites booked so I will try to use that as leverage to grab the Group Site I checked out a month back. Regardless we will have plenty of places to hang.


Q. do you have a site that can accommodate two more and one vehicle?
A. The Hawthorn site has plenty of parking, there is a short hike back to the sites.


Isle DuBois has a small entrance fee, $7.00 per adult daily. Here is the URL for the Park, https://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/state-p...y-roberts-lake. It has Coords and direction.

fellas I may not be able to be there until Saturday. there's a possibility I might have to go to St. Louis for work until Friday, and don't know what time I'll be able to get back. Hopefully the trip will be postponed until the following week.

That's the truth! Just since my last post the forecast has dropped 6°. The way its going, this may be an interesting weekend.
