While recovering from surgery & playing on my tablet the urge to get another hammock won out. I had been planning on doing a diy 11' double layer. The wife said she would sew it for me for $20. When I added the materials from diy gear, it figured $83. The Appalachian DL is on sale for $85 so I offered her the 2 bucks to do the thread injecting. She turned me down. I now have a new DL ordered. I don't know what she will charge me to sew the Insultex I have to insert between the layers but, I think we can work that out. It will be a while recovering but I'll post how I like it when I'm able.
