You may have the recipe. I bring my camping cookbook and leave it out for anyone who wants recipes to anything I cook. Now if I use a secret ingredient on something, it won't be in there, but you can get the recipes.

I'm thinking I'm gonna have to make spaghetti and monkey bread at every hang. Maybe cornbread too.

To those going (and not yet on the spreadsheet):

Hotlips just posted the menu (which looks AMAZING) on Facebook. Here it is, in all it's delicious glory!

Friday Night: Chili, Goulash, Cornbread, Banana Pudding
Saturday Morning: Pigs in a blanket, Monkey bread, Mountain man muffins.
Saturday Lunch: Gourmet hamburgers, Potato salad, Macaroni salad, special beans, cookies.
Saturday Dinner: Spaghetti, Chicken and dumplings, apple caramel cobbler, peach cobbler.
Sunday you are on your own.

As such, I'll be updating the spreadsheet with a list of items that are needed for her to work her camp kitchen magic - and if you've had her food, you bloody well know it's magic!

If you're a Supporting Member of PSH, make sure you're here for these vittles. If you're not a supporting member of PSH, the cost to attend is $5/person, and the vittles ALONE are worth it!

I have stayed in the primitive sites down there many times over the years, some great views of the lake and a cove to cool off in.

Back during my Boy Scout days, we stayed there all the time. The primitive areas are specifically reserved for "youth groups," but we got permission for PSH to use it for this hang. If you're in the area, come on by and join us at least for a day! If nothing else, the food's gonna be great!

I might do that. I just got into hammock camping, I wish I would have started it years ago with all the nights I spent sleeping on the ground in tents, but I will never go back to tents now.

I've been at it about two years now, but I'm in the same boat. Had I known then what I know now, I'd have stopped sleeping on the ground ages ago.

In all seriousness, if you're just starting out I'd even more strongly encourage you to come out to at least one of our group hangs. I found out very early that the absolute best way to learn is by seeing how other people do it.

Ok, so I know we'll get the cool breeze that runs across the peninsula, and I'm going to have my fans, and EZ UP. I've already got the solar shower and hose packed so I can wet down for some coolness and cleanliness, I can jump in the lake if I really want too. Only other thing I wished I had is a huge mister that ran on batteries LOL.
