You had me really rolling on the ground on this one Finn. Sorry I lost your address.

Ah, who wants a black Blackbird anyway. Especially since I have those cool camo BB's. But if you want my address again so you can send it to me, I would consent.

[FONT=Verdana][SIZE=2] I have included some pictures of the setup. Although the setup looks fine and pretty nifty it really will not work comfortably. The reason being is I lowered my hiking polls as low as they would go and if you look at the picture you will see that the still some curve to the hammock on each end. There is just enough curves so that you cannot lay flat on the ground and have the bottom of the hammock on the ground. It curves up enough on each end so you can feel it on your head and feet. I would not recommend using the BB are a ground dwelling unit. It might work is you are shorter the 5”9’ but it will not work for me.
OK, I was wrong, I thought it would work pretty good. I wonder how the JRB bridge would work? Not that you would ever want to, unless there were no trees and you needed bug protection.

i wonder if you moved the poles farther away from the whipping, maybe that would allow the ends to lay flatter to the ground

Cool pics. I am always a little hesitant to pitch my hammock on the ground. I'm worried about wearing a hole in the bottom.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?
The hanger formly known as "hammock engineer".

I was wondering if you got yours back from Brandon yet. When are you going to spring it/post some pics?
