G2O and Kyle, we definitely need to get that new gear out and get it dirty! Ha Ha.
Seems as though hiking gear was on the LISTS this year.
    Good on you guys!

My $anta was broke, but with some gear sales I should get myself few costly things this January, mostly Cuben goodies.

Only hammock related gift was an ENO gear hammock. Have not tried it out yet but not sure I will like it. Seems kind of gimmicky and unnecessary. Of course I wouldnt tell the gift giver that. Ha.

I got some thermal underwear and a book on the Appalachian trail. I may have made a few more hangers. uploadfromtaptalk1388449747243.jpg
Made these for my nieces and nephews.

For Christmas I made my wife a 12 baffle synthetic TQ using stuffing instead of down and pull string to close the end and snaps for the foot box. She loved it so much that I can now make me one for a late Christmas gift from her.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
