I have been experimenting with a neck pillow recently. I am liking it for a few reasons:
    1. Stays put. No sliding down into the SB/TQ. Stays on even when I get up for nature call during the night.
    2. Gives me the right support in the hammock. A regular pillow doesn't work quite right for me.
    3. In colder temps, it provides some neck warmth.
The road to success is always under construction.

Arrowhead Equipment snoring cub pillow. Small, lightweight. Its a neck pillow and it's the greatest thing I have used! Tried others but this is the go to!

I am a two pillow person in a flat bed but use a very small and thin pillow in the hammock. I think I could get away without a pillow because I find I mostly use it to stop my head rolling to one side. I now take a small Polar Fleece pillowcase and stuff it with a couple of small items to the required size/shape.

I mostly use a HH and put the pillow over the ridgeline and under the net before I hop in. Once settled, the pillow comes down and goes under the head. I found that putting the pillow in before getting in would end in a find-the-pillow contest and then a tug of war to get the thing out from under the body.

I sometimes use a small down pillow from Wilderness Logics and other times I use a piece of rolled up fleece. Just depends on how I'm feeling.
Keep movin', keep believing and enjoy the journey!
