An old give-away thread that was recently resurrected by accident with a few replies to it, gave me the push to do another give-away.
This giveaway will be located in the Off-topic Donating Members section this time. I think of this site like a cottage vendor that offers it's services for free and I choose to support this vendor by donating $10 a year to it in gratitude for all it has done for me. From the group hangouts to the mountains of information that is available here, Attroll has done a great job running this site in addition to the other sites, and all the moderators have dedicated so much of their time and effort to keeping things running smoothly. $10 seems like so minuscule compared to the work that goes into keeping this site going.
$10 a year gets you access to the Donating Members section that has many other categories like: Backpacks, Camp Cooking, knives, clothing and many other topics that may not be directly hammock related. There is alot of great discussions here that I would really like to see more of the newer members participate in.
I am going to give a gear-hammock away in the Off-topic section tonight. It's just my way of saying thanks to everybody here that helps make this place as awesome as it is. I hope this might encourage a few to become a donating member and join the rest of us in some great discussions in the D.M. Section.
