    Tarp hunting

Hello all! I am a newbie in the hammock world. I have been researching hammocks for the past 6 months or so and settled on a basic ENO doublenest as a start. I am now looking for accessories for when I am out in the woods camping. I have been looking for tarps and am not really sure what I should get. I would like it to hang low enough for privacy and strong enough to resist the elements. I like the pro fly style by ENO. I know there are other brands out there. I looked on the forums here and found a few sites but I am not really interested in dropping close to $200 for a tarp (just yet). I just want a simple tarp I can mess around with that does the job. Any suggestions on websites I could check out?

I would check out either warbonnetoutdoors or wilderness logics for a tarp just to name two.
I have a Mamajamba from warbonnet and a tadpole from Wilderness logic
    they are both great tarps.
I have discovered that if i spend just a little bit more on quality stuff, then I won't spend at much in the long run.
    welcome to the madeness

I think the Warbonnet Mamajamba or Edge are excellent options.

I'll throw AHE's Toxaway into the mix.

Great tarp, 12" RL, for nearly the same Tadpole price points.

Kelty Noah's are good and inexpensive. They are not the lightest strongest or best, but they are very serviceable for their cost. I do motorcycle touring so weight isn't an issue for me. The 12' is just OK for my 11' DangerBird by PapaSmurf, I'll be getting a 16' for next riding season. Spending a day out of the rain under the 12' wasn't the best. 16' would be much better for me.

Just thought I'd share my .02 in case you're still considering. Check Amazon for pricing if interested, they run deals some times.

    Hope this helps.

I am also a newbie. What I have right now is a simple traditional tarp that is only $30. It is made by Outdoor products. It seems very nice.
