I am not a hanger yet, but will be on 1-2-2014 when my new Hennessey arrives. At 70 I find I no longer like sleeping on the ground. On fishing trips on the Amazon I noticed all of the indians used Hammocks. I started researching hammocks and found lots of styles and manufactures. Who knew you could sleep diagonally in a hammock? Now that I have my first hammock coming I find out there is a world of accessories also. this is going to be a fun new adventure

Welcome to the forum and to hanging. There is great advice and lots of Knowledge here. Having spent my life in the South, I'm currently enjoying the many discussions of "how low can you go" temperatures that are taking place now. Down here I'm worried when it gets in the 30's but some of these people scare me :-).
There are some good youtube videos by Shug that cover many hammock topics and folks here are glad to share.
