    I have one and my son used it this weekend. He said it slept fine. One thing I did was tie off the ridgeline to the straps, and then realized when I got home that I could use a pair of Nite-Ize CamJams to clip the ridgeline to the straps and then cinch them up to the desired tightness and not have to tie them in a knot.

    I have one and it's quite nice.. I just didn't know about the ridgeline and it's importance.. so some of my hangs were less than stellar.

    I have a Junglenest but have only used it with my sleeping pad inside with me. Obviously I'm a little new to the hammock game, but I'm looking at Wilderness Logic to buy a shell and fill with my own down. Have any of you other Junglenest owners had recommendations for 3/4 or full length underquilts? I'd guess it would connect similarly to other hammocks but thought it was worth discussing if any of you had suggestions.

    I picked up a jungle nest for my first hammock . I am new to the tree hanging world . The place I have to camp is deep in the woods on the bank of the chattahoochee river bank and the bugs will tote you off . I found it very comfortable . Just spent two nights in it . It will take me some getting used to . Looking forward to many more trips abroad .

    After a dozen nights I find the junglenest a great option. I think I'm going to switch to a bridge at some point, but a great intro option for me.

    I think this is further evidence of hammocks moving toward mainstream. I'm glad to hear folks are getting comfortable in it, especially at 9'-4". Given the specs, it sounds durable enough for inexperienced campers and looks easy to set up. It would take a large tarp to provide coverage given that net configuration.

    My 11' hammock with bug net and suspension weighs half of the Jungle nest. And a much smaller tarp is effective because I can drop the tarp to just above the hammock ridgeline.

    But I can see why ENO will sell a lot of these hammocks.

    here is a update
    again we car camp not hiking in

    the tarp for my kids hammocks we just run the tarp ridge line under the tarp and then use those clips to clip up the net and works out quite well
    using HH double wide hex

    also these seem to be quite tough and the bug net seems to be quite durable so far which for my kids is great
    and as they grow will get them into nicer hammocks

    I do not really like the net setup much ? but it gives lots of room inside ? not sure my kids care though
    for the price on sale they are a good buy about $70 and can still say a good setup if you are under 5'6" or so and for kids if adult and more serious I say look at other setups first for kids its nice and tough and fairly cheap with a strong bug net and zippers on mine are smooth etc...
    like other ENO IMHO other products for adults are much more comfy for sleeping etc. wife and kids do not seem to notice as much most likely do to size etc...

    lack of being able to rig a good ridge line is my biggest complaint ! the net ends do not lend themselves to this without mods and if you are going to start modding this you might as well get a better setup and having to have a top line for the net ? well we always use tarps so not a huge deal but its something to think about if you want it more simple

    would I do it again ? hmmmmmmm flip a coin on that one
