There is 3 MM between the grid. However I had them put in a double rip stop grid. I think the new Argon CS90 will be suitable for a hammock.

I LOVE the feel of this Argon fabric.

Making a pillow, gifted a TQ made of the stuff for Christmas, this fabric is just the bees knees. Soooo silky smooth. I can't imagine a hammock made of the stuff, would just feel too good, my world would go horizontal.

allways wanted to work with argon, but have held back since its not ripstop. Now its easier to cut in a straight line to boot!

New colors look good. I wish that orange was available before I made my son a tablecloth hammock for christmas. Time to go check the change jar...

How does the ripstop feel compared to the original? Still as soft and light?

Well the original ultra light ARGON was 10D taffeta. It weighs .67 ounces per yard. I am getting it now as 10D rip stop. I have it in stock but I need to move the last of the taffeta first. I might do a remnant sale.

Now I am introducing 15D and it is called ARGON CS90, It will be available in three colors, Red, Orange, and Black. It weighs about .90 ounces per yard. I think it will be strong enough to use as a light hammock for a skinny person. It is meant to be quilt shell though. I have Red and Orange on the site now and hope to get black on tonight.

Are you not going to carry the original Argon anymore?

Yes except I added a ripstop to it. I have all the same colors, softness and the weight change was not noticeable. The only way you can tell the difference is a side by side comparison you can see the latest batch has the ripstop.

Yes, put in the comment section at checkout that you want rip stop. Except for the grey I am almost sold out of the taffeta and everything will be switched over to rip stop. Black, is already all rip stop.

And the new 15D ARGON CS90 is double rip stop. Really tough for it's weight.

Now I'm freaking out a bit. I saw the weights on the site and immediately emailed Stormcrow to change my order. Now that I read further, I find that was an overreaction. But now I'm freaking out that he saw my order change email but now wont see my retraction.
I need to go to bed. I'm a little looped on painkillers and muscle relaxers due to a pinched nerve.
