Can a set (in this case 3) of whoopies be installed on the Clark vertex? I would imagine I'll require 3 lines instead of the standard 2.
I'm receiving one pretty soon and wanted to be ready when it comes

I think that you would need two sets (4 whoopies).
I put them on the NX 250 and changed then to straps (Dutch) which I prefer. I also put Dutch-suspension straps on the Vertex. You also need four.
What did you end up doing with your Vertex? I've got one on the way, my suspension from Dutch arrived much quicker than the hammock. I've got a ridgeline and tarp guy lines sorted out ... also from Dutch ... but I'm interested to know what you've done with the tie outs for the ceiling.
4 whoopies slings and 3 tree straps. One for the front 2 and 2 for the back 2. What tie outs for the ceiling???
there are little loops on both ends of the hammock ... i've seen photos where it looks like they're guy'd. I've spent one night in mine and I didn't see a need for them. I also used 4 whoopies and 3 straps. I'm taking it out again this weekend and will use two straps on the foot end this time (same tree of course) to see how that changes things.
... I haven't had to use these little tie-outs but I have been doing some reading and it looks like at some point they only used one pole at the head of the hammock so you could guy out the foot end. They probably include loops at both ends just in case you need them.
you guys are some crafty buggers lol i feel like I'm in a classroom every time i hit this board up!
