    Awesome backpacking site.

So while relaxing on this New Years morning I stumbled across an awesome site about backpacking. http://www.thehikinglife.com/ I haven't read through all of it yet but so far it's been incredibly informative. It might not be specifically about hammock camping but the general principles for hiking that Cam talks about can definitely be applied to any backpacking experience. I'm very new to hiking in general my self so this site has been really interesting. Hope you all can check it out.

This site is great .... 14,000+ miles in 18 or so months ... inconceivable.

That site has some great stuff. I'm sure my wife will just love the fact that I now have this site to look at as well.

Did the math: that's an average of 26 miles each day for 18 months.

    Amazing.
I've gone to find myself. If I get back before I return, make sure I stay here.

When I see lovers' names carved into a tree, I don't think it's cute. I think it's strange how so many people take knives on a date.

I've just spent the past 6 hours reading through the site, lots of good information in a well laid out fashion.
