    Video: Backyard hanging in Minnesota

I've spent the last two months sleeping out in my backyard, so this morning I decided to make a quick video showing "the accommodations". Coldest night so far was -14F, although Sunday looks like it will break that. Great birdwatching on my days off - I can lay there until lunchtime watching them hang out by the feeders I put up!

Hi Tony, excellent report from the backyard.

I like the ENO doublenest as well it's a very comfortable hammock and like you said nobugnet in winter is the way to go.

2 months of hanging and no blowing snow storms?
Some doors on your tarp might be inorder if you get one.

Yeah, so far our snow has fallen pretty gently. The wind is also partially limited by the presence of houses all around, so there's that. I have a tarp with doors on the way though, so when we get to March weather that may come in handy.

Hanging in the backyard is great! Well, not as good as being out amongst it, but it's better than not hanging at all. You look as happy a can be in your hammock. Don't take any notice of your famaily, hanging in your hammy in freezing, cold, snowy weather is perfectly normal! lol Thanks for the video, TonyYarusso, good stuff!
