I'm a maybe. I have canoed the Buffalo 2 years now. Last year, we put in at Kyles. Restroom and water was on (we were there in mid-May). But every other camp ground WAS closed. I mean locked, even the water was shut off.
Kyles, Open
Erbie, Closed. We stopped for lunch and checked out the B River Trail. Even the water was off.
Ozark, open, super nice camp host. Kept everyone off the river due to BAD storm. Told us they shut off the water even so they don't have to check if some ya-hoo drunk left it on "so as to put more water in the river".....
Pruit. I forget, I think closed. Even the ranger post
Hasty was closed
Carver open, water and latrine
Mt Hersey, closed up.
Woolum was open, but it doesnt have water anyway....except the river.
We pulled out at Grinders Ferry. Stayed in Tyler Bend.

I'm definitely going to make it. I'll try to bring a couple extra yaks as well again. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

my buddy paid the camp fee (senior discount). Is it like $10 per camp-site? I don't remember any per-person fee at any of the Buffalo camp grounds.
That area to the right of the road, looked really nice. A very large church group was in there when we got there, like 50 people....but not hangers.

OK I met Big Bacon in Louisiana and ate some great beans. I will be trying my best to make it to this hang.
