I think I'm gonna have to leave the boats. I was already on the fence and noticed one of my bearings is all but shot. I've' got last minute things to do as it is and I'd rather spend the couple of hours it would take to replace it on the road there. I always run into problems when tackling something like that last minute and I refuse to start in a bad mood.

Sorry I'm going to miss getting to meet you fine folks this weekend. We just hiked the Buffalo River Trail this past weekend from Steel Creek through Kyle's Landing to Erbie. There is a great camp site less than 1/4 mile off the trail next to boulder strewn stream about halfway between Steel Creek and Kyle's Landing - be glad to send anyone coordinates if interested.

There is also a great waterfall, Triple Falls, a couple of miles east of Kyle's Landing towards Erbie - just a short distance off the trail. It was flowing all three flumes on Sunday. I didn't check the river level, but from the trail it looked very floatable.

I'll try to get some pics posted in a trip report tomorrow. Have fun everyone - this is a beautiful area.
